Tumbled Love Table Runner Pattern
Share
I have a new pattern available for you, just in time for Valentine's Day!
It's a great little project to use up your small scraps, and comes together very quickly, too. Perfect for gifting or decorating your own table.
I'm in love with the scrappy look of the hearts!
This one I just had to make in pinks, because I've been itching to use up all my lovely pink scraps, but also because my daughter informed me that hearts for Valentine's Day always need to be pink. Who am I to argue with that logic? ;-)
Of course, this would look great in any colour, and I have a second version of this in blues and peach tones right here. Some day there might even be a completely blue one, or maybe a yellow version... the scraps are just waiting to be used up for this pattern.
The quilting on this runner is a simple meander design on my trusty Bernina Aurora 370QE. It's a quick and fuss-free quilt design but still has the organic look to it, unlike straight lines or grids (which I also love). The hearts are the star of this runner without the quilting getting boring or distracting.
And, naturally, a scrappy quilt needs a scrappy binding.
In case you like baking as much as I do, the pictures of this yummy Lemon and Honey Bundt Cake have probably made your mouth water. You can find the recipe for it right here to try it out for yourself. And I highly recommend making the candied lemon peel. It barely took any time, but definitely added the finishing touch for both looks and taste. And it tasted delicious!
So go ahead, get your copy of the pattern and go dig through your scraps! Don't forget to tag your photos if you share them on Instagram. Use #psqtumbledlove and join in the fun!
And before you leave, here's a little tip... if you make two rows of hearts and sew them together, you have a perfectly sized baby quilt.
