The alphabet pattern family has a new member - welcome to the Party Bunting sewing pattern!
Party Bunting is a mini version of my signature alphabet from ElemenoQuilt, Be Mine, Holiday Spirit, and Ghostly Greetings, designed to expand your modern, geometric alphabet tool box to more sizes.
About the Party Bunting pattern
Party Bunting includes the full English alphabet in my signature modern style. It is set up like all the other Alphabet quilt patterns with individual cutting and sewing directions for each letter, so you can pick and choose which letters you need for a project, without digging through lengthy instructions to find the parts you need.
The blocks are beginner-friendly with easy, traditional piecing techniques, no FPP or curved piecing.
Multiple Buntings Included
The Party Bunting pattern includes full instructions for three buntings:
- Congratulations
- Happy Birthday
- Welcome
These three have the full yardage calculated for you, and include fabric-saving cutting instructions to make the most of your favourite fabrics.
Customizable Bunting
Party Bunting is fully customizable to any wording and bunting length. In addition to the above mathed-out phrases, it also includes fabric instructions for
- individual blocks
- blank flags
- multiple bunting lengths
- individual cutting and piecing instructions for every letter
- different background for the front and back of the flags
This means that whatever wording you need on your bunting, it's super easy to adapt.
Two Bunting Flag Styles
I couldn't decide which style of flag to use, a swallow tail or a triangle flag, so I included instructions for both.
Other uses for the Party Bunting blocks
Party Bunting is both a bunting sewing pattern, and an alphabet toolbox for the modern quilter. All the blocks finish at 5" square and can be used for loads of other wordy projects, from wall hangings to welcome signs, personalized quilts and pillows, and even larger quilts with messages.
