Ice Cream Tote

How cute is this ice cream tote?

I used two of my sample blocks from the Ice Cream Sunday collection to turn into a summery book bag for my daughter. The two matching ice cream bars work perfectly for this kind of project, and I was lucky to find this remnant of cute ice cream fabric in my stash, from Art Gallery's Boardwalk Delights a few years back.

It was perfect for the lining, and there was enough to add a little inside pocket for her library card, or her sunglasses when she uses the bag for her swim suit and towel to walk over to Grandma’s house for a swim.

I completely forgot to take pictures of the process, so the tutorial will be linked here as soon as I give the same treatment to the popsicle blocks, too.

Edited to add: Here's the full photo tutorial on how to make this tote.

In the meantime, you can find the patterns for the blocks right here in the shop.
